King Ping Chayu in Zhongshan District

Come here more for the novelty of well packaged teas and the variety of food for the set meals. Beef noodles is pretty good. The soup dumplings are average (not as good as the popular and busier shops that makes it on the spot. Famous milk tea is okay. The quality and tea taste is over rated, especially if you are a tea connoisseur. You probably will get much better quality for the same prices at reputable tea traders like Ten Shang 天祥茗茶.

The food looked very good, but it was just okay to me for me. It doesn’t have many seats here. Nice a place to take a break if you’re tired of shopping.

Tried some of their top end tea (please see attached photos for those that I tried). Really impressed me especially those cold brewed tea. The palate of those cold and hot brewed are very different even they used the same kind of tea leaf. I think the owner should focus more on tea rather than food as they have very unique products (tea leaf) rather than foods. It is easy to find shops in Taipei selling similar kind of foods (noodles, dumping...) although their foods were reasonably good. The place was clean. Service was good. Definitely a place for high end Chinese tea lovers.

Regular tea house with light snacks. Six colours of Xilongbo 小籠包 fulled of surprises for different favour. Recommend their firm tofu.

Nice place to have oolong tea and shaolong bao. They even do oolong bubble tea and oolong ice-cream!

I ordered a tea jelly and a roasted oolong tea. Tea jelly was normal, maybe a little overly sweet. It was served with whipped cream on top which was also sweetened.The roasted tea didn't have much tea flavour. They also forgot I ordered it and I had to chase it down street I finished the tea jelly.

Customer service need to be improved, otherwise it's not that bad......

Great place to hang and have some nice tea😍Definitely recommend! The dishes they have are also tasty and you can get a great variety of famous Taiwanese food!

Really nothing special. Poor service. If you want dim sum would recommend going elsewhere. This is a tea shop with light snacks.

Very good quality of tea and the food is decent too! I have been here several times when I lived next by and went again recently and tried their new menu. I am very impressed by the quality and taste. Modern but still has a traditional taiwanese taste!

I thinks the milk tea sundae was not very nice but another foods and drinks were nice (I don’t suggest to eat this ice cream)😑
